> Total revenue rose 5% sequentially, while the three Core divisions grew 6%. Middle East revenue was down 12% from a year earlier.

SLB’s Middle East revenue increased 13% from the second quarter to $1.9 billion, but remained 12% below the year-earlier level as the oilfield-services company posted broader growth in the third quarter.

For the quarter ended Sept. 30, 2026, overall revenue was $9.449 billion, up 5% sequentially and 6% year over year. Revenue was $8.972 billion in the prior quarter and $8.928 billion in the third quarter of 2025. The three Core divisions together produced $8.522 billion, a 6% sequential gain. Production Systems brought in $4 billion, up 6% from the prior quarter. Well Construction generated $2.888 billion, a 5% increase, while Reservoir Performance reached $1.634 billion, also 5% higher. Those three divisions make up the Core business.

Activity improved in Iraq, Kuwait, Oman, Saudi Arabia, Qatar and the United Arab Emirates. SLB reported renewed disruptions in some countries late in the quarter. Chief Executive Officer Olivier Le Peuch said, “the near-term pace of recovery in the Middle East remains uncertain.”

The Middle East figure is separate from SLB’s broader Middle East & Asia reporting region, which recorded $2.807 billion in revenue. That area rose 9% sequentially but fell 6% year over year on a reported basis; on a pro forma basis that accounts for ChampionX, it declined 7%.

The year-over-year comparison for SLB includes ChampionX, acquired in 2025. The third quarter of 2025 included two months of ChampionX activity, while the latest quarter included a full three months. With ChampionX excluded, total revenue rose 2% year over year, and Core revenue was essentially flat.

Data Center Solutions, reported outside the Core divisions, generated $230 million, up 23% sequentially and 76% year over year. SLB’s attributable net income fell to $735 million, 6% below the prior quarter and 1% below the year-earlier quarter. Adjusted diluted earnings per share rose 16% sequentially to $0.64, though it was 7% below the year-earlier figure.
