# AMTD IDEA Posts $67.1 Million First-Half Revenue as Profit Falls

AMTD IDEA Group (NYSE: AMTD; SGX: HKB) recorded $67.141 million in unaudited revenue for the six months ended June 30, 2026, as lower investment-portfolio gains helped pull period profit down to $40.339 million.

Revenue was $89.039 million in the first half of 2025, while profit for that period was $68.824 million. AMTD IDEA attributed most of the profit decline to a reduction in unrealized gains on its investment portfolio. Net fair-value changes on financial assets at fair value through profit or loss totaled $24.990 million, compared with $56.176 million a year earlier.

Revenue from customer contracts rose 32.1% to $32 million. The hospitality segment generated $20.245 million, up from $12.668 million a year earlier, a 59.8% increase. The company linked the hospitality growth to hotel acquisitions in New York, Perth, London and Kuala Lumpur. Chief Financial Officer Xavier Zee said the group sees “strong momentum in this strategic sector.”

Basic and diluted earnings per share were both 4.31 U.S. cents per Class A and Class B ordinary share, down from 10.22 cents a year earlier. These figures are per ordinary share. On Oct. 19, AMTD IDEA completed a change to its American depositary share ratio: each ADS now represents 360 Class A ordinary shares, compared with six previously.
