Kemira Oyj's third-quarter revenue rose 3% year over year to €708.9 million, mainly on acquisitions, while diluted earnings per share fell to €0.21 from €0.38.

In local currencies, revenue was stable when acquisitions and divestments were excluded. The figures show that acquisitions accounted for most of the reported revenue growth.

Operative EBITDA declined to €112.8 million from €137.3 million a year earlier, and its margin narrowed to 15.9% from 20%. Sales prices increased year over year, while volumes decreased.
