Perpetua Resources Corp. announced that its subsidiary, Perpetua Resources Idaho Inc., entered a 36-month U.S. Army agreement to assess domestic tungsten concentrate production at Idaho’s Stibnite district through a cost-share program.

The agreement provides for up to $40 million in Army funding, to be matched by Perpetua Resources Idaho. Only the initial phase of funding is committed; later phases require separate approval. The program will assess the technical and economic feasibility of producing tungsten concentrate.

Work includes drilling and metallurgical testing, along with permitting and engineering an exploration decline. Perpetua Resources Corp. trades on Nasdaq under the ticker PPTA.
