# Toyota Global Vehicle Sales Fall 2.2% to 860,107 in September

Toyota Motor Corporation recorded 860,107 global vehicle sales in September 2026, a 2.2% decrease from the same month a year earlier. Sales increased in the United States and Japan, while falling in China and the Middle East.

U.S. sales rose 8.4% year over year, and sales in Japan increased 1.8%. China sales fell 19.7%, while sales in the Middle East declined 29.8%.

Toyota’s global production totaled 889,079 vehicles, down 3.2% from September 2025. Production decreased 18.6% in China and 2.9% in the United States, while rising 5.8% in Japan.
