The revenue range's midpoint, about $16.6 billion, is close to the $16.5 billion analyst estimate in an [earlier Intel earnings preview](). That preview also listed adjusted earnings expectations of $0.40 per share. For the fourth quarter, qinbafrank expects the midpoint of Intel's revenue guidance to fall between $17.1 billion and $17.5 billion and the midpoint of its adjusted earnings guidance to fall between $0.44 and $0.50 per share. The forecast puts adjusted gross margin guidance at about 42.5% to 44%. The revenue estimate falls within Intel's [July outlook]() of $15.8 billion to $16.8 billion, while the forecast's adjusted-earnings midpoint is above the outlook's $0.38 per share.
