> Third-quarter production averaged 374,000 barrels per day as planned maintenance at Johan Sverdrup weighed on output.

Aker BP ASA maintained its 2026 production guidance at 380,000 to 400,000 barrels per day and is targeting about 35% production growth through 2028. The company expects full-year output near the midpoint of the range.

Production averaged 374,000 barrels per day in the third quarter, with planned maintenance at Johan Sverdrup weighing on output.

Aker BP raised its full-year production-cost outlook to about $8.50 per barrel from around $8 per barrel, citing a stronger Norwegian krone and higher power prices. It maintained capital spending guidance of $6.8 billion to $7.2 billion.

Aker BP CEO Karl Hersvik said the Skarv Satellites started “almost 1 year ahead of the original schedule.” The company plans to provide next year’s dividend guidance at its fourth-quarter presentation.
