Five companies are among the major earnings releases expected after the close Thursday, Oct. 29: Amazon.com (AMZN), Intel Corporation (INTC), Sandisk Corporation (SNDK), Starbucks Corporation (SBUX) and Gilead Sciences (GILD).

ACCO, ACDVF, ACIC and AJG are also slated to release earnings after Thursday’s close.
