> Russell 1000 constituent representations are now live, while the ecosystem-wide count does not disclose Kraken’s current platform inventory.

Payward announced Oct. 28 that its xStocks ecosystem now spans more than 1,500 tokenized representations of stocks, exchange-traded funds and IPOs across four markets, including Russell 1000 constituents.

The representations span U.S., U.K., European and Hong Kong markets. Russell 1000 constituent representations are live in xStocks. Payward’s announcement did not break the ecosystem-wide figure down by platform, so the total does not establish how many representations Kraken currently offers.

Kraken announced Oct. 22 that more than 1,000 xStocks were on its platform, but gave no exact count or itemized inventory. That milestone appears in [earlier coverage of Kraken’s 1,000-plus listing announcement](<https://www.tokenpost.com/news/business/38691>). The newer figure describes the broader xStocks ecosystem rather than a Kraken-only total.

Kraken said in March that 100 xStocks were listed on its platform and set a goal of more than 500 by the end of 2026. Its Oct. 22 announcement put the platform count above 1,000, but did not explain how that figure was counted or list the individual instruments.

Payward’s Oct. 28 announcement also put xStocks assets under management above $1 billion as of Oct. 27, up from about $225 million in February 2026. It listed more than $45 billion in cumulative transaction volume, more than 550,000 holders and more than $100 million deployed in decentralized finance. Val Gui, general manager of xStocks, called the billion-dollar milestone “a milestone on the path to something much larger.”

These figures describe different aspects of the wider ecosystem, including its representation count, assets under management, transaction volume, holders and DeFi deployment. They add scale context but do not turn the ecosystem-wide representation count into a Kraken listing total.

xStocks are backed one-to-one by underlying equities. The tokens do not confer shareholder voting rights or a legal claim to the underlying shares. They are unavailable to U.S. residents and U.S. persons, even though the ecosystem includes representations tied to U.S. markets.
