> The company estimates its East Side Express pipeline will cost $200 million to $300 million, with work spanning late 2028 through 2029.

Antero Midstream expects EBITDA to grow at a double-digit rate in 2027, raising its outlook from the high-single-digit growth expectation it gave in July. CEO and President Michael Kennedy tied the higher projection to two growth pads and integration of the company’s HG water system during an Oct. 29 earnings call.

“Looking ahead to 2027, these growth pads and water system integration are expected to drive double-digit year-over-year EBITDA growth,” Kennedy said.

Water operations have started for two drilled-but-uncompleted growth pads, which Antero Midstream expects to add throughput in 2027. The company also expects to complete the integration of the HG water system with its legacy system by the end of 2026. These projects form the basis of the updated growth outlook.

Initial construction on East Side Express began in the second quarter of 2026 and is continuing. The regional pipeline is intended to expand dry-gas deliveries to regional and long-haul pipelines. Antero Midstream estimates the project will cost $200 million to $300 million and include about seven connections to downstream pipelines. Its timing estimate spans late 2028 through 2029, and the company has not set a specific in-service date.

Kennedy said multiple downstream counterparties had expressed interest in accessing natural gas from Antero Resources through East Side Express. Separately, Antero Midstream expects more than $100 million in 2027 capital spending above its organic program for the pipeline and other regional gas-demand projects. That spending estimate covers those projects during 2027; it is separate from East Side Express’s estimated total cost.

For the three months ended Sept. 30, Antero Midstream recorded $291 million in adjusted EBITDA, up 3% from a year earlier, and $51 million in capital expenditures. Curtailments reduced throughput by about 10 billion cubic feet during the third quarter. The company expects curtailments to reduce throughput by about 15 billion to 20 billion cubic feet in the fourth quarter of 2026.
