> The company authorized $2.5 billion in share repurchases for each of the fourth quarter and first quarter of 2027.

TotalEnergies expects its 2026 cash flow to exceed $42 billion and potentially reach about $43 billion, while authorizing $5 billion in share repurchases across the fourth quarter and first quarter of 2027.

The company approved $2.5 billion in repurchases for each quarter. The outlook follows third-quarter cash flow from operations excluding working capital of $12.255 billion, up 25% from the prior quarter, and adjusted net income of $9.097 billion, more than double the previous quarter. Those results are covered in TokenPost’s [third-quarter performance report](<https://www.tokenpost.com/news/business/43575>).

For the fourth quarter, TotalEnergies expects hydrocarbon production, excluding the impact of the Middle East crisis, to increase more than 3% from a year earlier. It expects gas trading performance to stay within the range recorded in the third quarter.

The company may also increase its final dividend to meet its commitment to return 40% of cash flow to shareholders.
