> Intel forecast adjusted earnings of 25 cents per share and revenue of $15 billion to $16 billion, below estimates of 43 cents and $17 billion.

Intel’s weaker-than-expected fourth-quarter outlook prompted Bank of America to downgrade the stock and several firms to lower price targets, as analysts weighed declining PC demand against strength in data center sales.

The chipmaker projected adjusted earnings of 25 cents per share on revenue of $15 billion to $16 billion. Analysts had expected earnings of 43 cents per share and revenue of $17 billion. The forecast followed Intel’s third-quarter results, which beat estimates for revenue and adjusted earnings, and shifted attention to the near-term outlook in [earlier coverage of weaker fourth-quarter guidance](<https://www.tokenpost.com/news/business/44086>).

Bank of America lowered its rating to neutral from buy and reduced its price target to $100 from $145. Analyst Vivek Arya said, “The stock has not communicated enough traction with external foundry customers.” He projected PC shipments would decline 25% to 30% quarter over quarter in the fourth quarter and said an inventory correction was expected to continue in the first half of 2027.

UBS cut its target to $80 from $100 and kept a neutral rating. Analyst Timothy Arcuri said the outlook reflected a sharper-than-expected downturn in the PC business. He described the recovery path as challenging amid memory pricing and supply constraints, particularly as server demand grows.

Bernstein lowered its target to $75 from $110 and maintained a market-perform rating. Analyst Stacy Rasgon pointed to a worsening PC outlook and a mismatch between Intel’s manufacturing capacity and demand, with too much capacity for PC products and too little for servers.

Wells Fargo reduced its target to $80 from $120 and kept an equal-weight rating. Analyst Joe Quatrochi said strong data center demand, supply expansion through 2027 and visibility into commitments from external foundry customers would remain key factors for the stock.

Barclays lowered its target to $75 from $100 and maintained an equal-weight rating. Analyst Tom O’Malley cited weaker PC conditions and supply limits on data center AI demand. Goldman Sachs kept its neutral rating and $100 target, saying the outlook was driven mainly by a weakening PC market.
