Entergy raised its quarterly common-stock dividend by 6.3% to $0.68 per share, with shareholders of record Nov. 13 eligible for the higher payment scheduled for Dec. 1.

Entergy’s board declared the dividend Friday, Oct. 30. The increase adds $0.04 to the previous quarterly payout. The company has paid a cash dividend every quarter since 1988.

Entergy generates, transmits and distributes electricity to more than 3 million customers in Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi and Texas. The next payment is scheduled for Dec. 1 to shareholders of record Nov. 13.
