> Third-quarter revenue rose from a year earlier, but the company plans to delay production recognition for Archimedes oxide material until early 2027.

i-80 Gold Corp. expects 2026 gold production to fall in the lower half of its guidance range after changing its plan for Archimedes oxide material, even as third-quarter revenue increased from a year earlier.

The company reported $32.728 million in revenue for the quarter ended Sept. 30, up from $32.019 million a year earlier. Its net loss widened to $48.350 million, or $0.06 per share, from $41.867 million, or $0.05 per share. Adjusted net loss, a non-GAAP measure, was $48.151 million, or $0.06 per share, compared with $34.255 million, or $0.04 per share.

Gold production declined to 11,685 ounces from 12,428 ounces. Sales fell to 7,744 ounces from 9,368, while the average realized price rose to $4,211 per ounce from $3,412. Gross profit increased to $4.954 million from $3.118 million.

Pre-development, evaluation and exploration costs climbed to $33.355 million from $20.062 million. i-80 Gold linked the increase to drilling at Ruby Hill. The company used $32.541 million in operating cash during the quarter, compared with $15.246 million a year earlier. Cash and cash equivalents totaled $411.355 million at Sept. 30.

The company plans to heap-leach oxide material from Archimedes instead of selling it under an ore purchase agreement. That decision moves the expected production recognition for the material from the fourth quarter of 2026 to the first quarter of 2027. In August, i-80 Gold said it remained on track to meet its full-year production guidance.

“We are optimizing the 2027 mine plan to reflect the higher than anticipated oxide material, with heap leaching planned to commence by year-end,” said Paul Chawrun, executive vice president and chief operating officer.

Granite Creek and Archimedes underground projects are expected to supply the Lone Tree Plant, now undergoing refurbishment. i-80 Gold expects commissioning in the fourth quarter of 2027 and is targeting annual production of 150,000 to 200,000 ounces beginning in 2028.
