> President Chris Yu gave no delivery total. The Standard trim is scheduled for early 2027, later than ALSO’s August forecast.

Also, Inc., the micromobility company Rivian spun out in 2025, is seeing more TM-B Launch Edition e-bikes delivered as production increases, President Chris Yu said Tuesday. He did not provide a delivery total.

Yu described a “substantial number” of bikes as “out there,” without putting a figure on deliveries. Launch Edition bikes began shipping in August, so the update concerns an ongoing rollout rather than a first shipment.

Yu said shortages affected integrated circuits, computing components, memory and printed circuit board materials. He linked some of the pressure on board supplies to demand from AI server farms. ALSO sourced replacement parts and spent weeks checking them for heat tolerance, impact resistance and vibration, Yu said.

The TM-B is a software-defined e-bike with a pedal-by-wire drivetrain and modular top frames. The Standard model is priced at $3,500 with a 60-mile range, while the Performance costs $4,500 and has a 100-mile range. Those range estimates apply under ideal conditions, and actual mileage can vary.

Yu said ALSO worked with UL on a testing protocol for the bike’s battery architecture. The TM-B Performance is certified under ANSI/CAN/UL 2849, which covers an e-bike’s electrical drivetrain, battery and charger systems.

Rivian created ALSO as a standalone micromobility company in March 2025 and retained a substantial minority stake. In August, ALSO announced a $150 million Series D to accelerate development of its autonomous vehicle platform.

ALSO’s current schedule has Launch Edition shipments continuing through November and Performance deliveries starting in November, with most orders expected to ship by December. The company had said in August that initial deliveries of both the Performance and Standard models would begin in fall 2026. Standard deliveries are now scheduled for early 2027.
