> Adjusted net income was $292 million. Aptiv kept its full-year adjusted EPS outlook at $5.60 to $5.80 per share.

Aptiv PLC posted year-over-year revenue growth in the third quarter but lower adjusted earnings and EBITDA, while setting fourth-quarter adjusted net income guidance at $1.35 to $1.55 per share.

Revenue for the quarter ended Sept. 30, 2026, reached $3.199 billion, up 2% from $3.127 billion in the year-earlier quarter. Adjusted net income declined to $292 million from $321 million. On a diluted-share basis, adjusted earnings were $1.42, compared with $1.48 a year earlier.

Adjusted EBITDA, a measure of earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization modified by specified adjustments, fell to $567 million from $598 million. Its margin narrowed to 17.7% from 19.1%. The results paired higher revenue with lower adjusted profit measures.

Net income from continuing operations was $194 million, compared with a $488 million loss in the year-earlier quarter. That prior-year loss included a $648 million noncash goodwill impairment charge. Adjusted earnings per share is a per-share measure calculated under a company’s non-GAAP methodology.

For the fourth quarter, Aptiv projected revenue of $3.110 billion to $3.210 billion alongside adjusted net income of $1.35 to $1.55 per share. The guidance gives a range for both revenue and adjusted earnings per share.

Aptiv maintained its full-year adjusted earnings outlook at $5.60 to $5.80 per share. It narrowed its full-year revenue range to $12.65 billion to $12.75 billion, from the previous range of $12.6 billion to $12.8 billion.

Aptiv’s Electrical Distribution Systems unit became a separate company, Versigent PLC, on April 1, 2026. Its full-year outlook excludes that business, and adjusted comparisons for periods before the spin-off are presented on a pro forma basis.

“During the third quarter, we delivered solid financial results and continued to execute against our strategic priorities,” Aptiv Chair and CEO Kevin Clark said.

Aptiv had scheduled its earnings call for 8 a.m. ET (1300 UTC) Nov. 3.
