> The company also projected non-GAAP net income of $0.41 to $0.49 per diluted common share. Its CFO gave no firm date for operating expenses as a share of revenue to reach 40% or below.

Calix forecast fourth-quarter revenue of $311 million to $317 million, with the midpoint implying about 19% full-year growth as the company navigates higher memory component costs.

For the quarter ending Dec. 31, 2026, Calix also projected non-GAAP net income of $0.41 to $0.49 per diluted common share. The revenue midpoint would represent 4% growth from the third quarter and put full-year 2026 revenue growth at about 19%.

The company forecast fourth-quarter non-GAAP operating expenses of $129.5 million to $131.5 million, up from $124 million in the third quarter. Calix said the outlook includes costs for its annual ConneXions customer and innovation conference and five additional days in the quarter, partly offset by anticipated productivity benefits. Its non-GAAP measures exclude noncash stock-based compensation, intangible-asset amortization and the impact of changes in income taxes.

Third-quarter non-GAAP operating expenses were 41% of revenue, down from 42% in the prior quarter. On the Nov. 3 earnings call, Chief Financial Officer Cory Sindelar said, “We expect operating leverage will continue as OPEX as a percentage of revenue continues to drift downward to 40% and below.” He gave no firm date for reaching that level. Sindelar said Calix was looking to accelerate an earlier operating-expense growth goal into 2027, while adding that the company was not committing to that timing.

Calix reported third-quarter revenue of $301.7 million, up 14% from a year earlier. For the fourth quarter, it forecast non-GAAP gross margin of 52.25% to 54.75%, citing continued increases in memory component costs and expecting surcharges to offset a greater share of those costs.
