> Potential follow-on surveys could generate up to $2.5 million over two years, depending on customer needs, project schedules, successful delivery and further awards.

ZenaTech, Inc. (Nasdaq: ZENA) said Wednesday, Nov. 4, that one of its U.S. Drone as a Service (DaaS) locations won multiple bids for topographic survey work on an unnamed utility's solar infrastructure project. The initial contracts are worth nearly $1 million in total. The company expects the solar work to support a grid upgrade spanning multiple years and involving billions of dollars.

The utility and project location were not identified. ZenaTech did not disclose the number of awards, the exact value of the contracts or when the survey work is scheduled. The company described the broader grid upgrade as a multiyear, multibillion-dollar project.

ZenaTech estimated that additional surveying could generate up to $2.5 million in revenue over the next two years, beyond the initial contracts. The potential work depends on customer requirements, project schedules, successful delivery of the initial assignments and further contract awards. The estimate does not include possible inspection and maintenance work after construction, which the company described as separate potential work.

The release gives different figures for possible follow-on revenue: its headline and main text cite up to $2.5 million over two years, while its safe-harbor section cites up to $3 million over the same period. The company does not explain the discrepancy.

ZenaTech's DaaS division provides drone piloting, data capture and processing for customers that do not operate their own drone fleets. The company also plans to begin formal testing of its AI software suite across the DaaS network in 2027. It did not say whether that software will be used for the utility's solar surveys.
