> Conductor's cloud service is due to close Nov. 20, with cloud data deletion starting afterward. Its other core features are expected to continue into early next year.

Meta acquired Conductor, an AI coding startup, adding a developer tool to its portfolio as the startup prepares to close its cloud service Nov. 20.

Conductor helps software engineers coordinate AI agents across separate parts of a project. Users can deploy its agent teams through the cloud, on local machines or through a phone. The agents come from major AI labs, including Anthropic and OpenAI.

The cloud service will go offline Nov. 20. Conductor will start deleting user data stored in the cloud after the shutdown.

Founder and CEO Charlie Holtz said, “Conductor is joining Meta.” He said customers should have “something new” to use by early next year. Holtz also said Conductor's other core features are expected to keep working as before until then.

Meta launched its own coding agent, Muse Code, in August. The acquisition follows Meta's purchase of AI analytics startup [Sundial](<https://www.tokenpost.com/news/business/39936>), which brought its data analysis platform and staff to Meta.
