Aflac Incorporated (AFL) posted third-quarter non-GAAP earnings per share of $2.43, beating estimates by $0.63, while revenue fell 31% year over year to $3.27 billion.

Revenue missed estimates by $940 million. Aflac's annualized shareholder-equity return was 4.1%. A second annualized measure, adjusted to exclude foreign currency remeasurement, came in at 23.7%.
