> Second-quarter net sales reached $520.8 million, beating the $470.3 million analyst estimate, while adjusted earnings per share came in at $1.21.

E.l.f. Beauty raised its fiscal 2027 outlook after second-quarter net sales climbed 51% to $520.8 million, exceeding analysts’ $470.3 million estimate and adjusted earnings-per-share expectations.

Adjusted earnings per share were $1.21, compared with an expected 60 cents. For the quarter ended Sept. 30, net income was $30.03 million, or 50 cents per share, up from roughly $3 million, or 5 cents per share, a year earlier. The quarter marked the company’s 31st consecutive quarter of net sales growth.

Sales growth came through retail and e-commerce in the United States and international markets. International business grew 165%. CEO Tarang Amin said, “Every one of our brands contributed strong growth this quarter.”

E.l.f. now expects fiscal 2027 net sales of $2 billion to $2.03 billion, up from its previous range of $1.94 billion to $1.97 billion. Its adjusted EBITDA outlook rose to $421 million to $427 million from $401 million to $407 million, while its adjusted earnings-per-share range increased to $3.82 to $3.86 from $3.50 to $3.55.

The company also raised its net income forecast to $231 million to $233 million, compared with its prior range of $212 million to $215 million. Amin said the company was “very bullish” on the holiday season and expected high sales through year-end.
