> The company increased midpoint targets for adjusted EBITDA, adjusted EPS and free cash flow, while estimating supply constraints cut third-quarter revenue by about $100 million.

Viatris raised its 2026 guidance midpoints on Nov. 5 after reporting third-quarter revenue of $3.7495 billion, nearly unchanged from a year earlier. New product sales and strength in some regions helped offset supply constraints and added competition.

Revenue was $3.7599 billion in the third quarter of 2025. Adjusted earnings per share were $0.71, up 6% on a reported basis and 3% on an operational basis from a year earlier.

The company’s U.S. GAAP net loss widened to $325 million from $128 million in the same quarter last year. Viatris attributed the increase primarily to a higher income tax provision on losses in jurisdictions where it could realize little tax benefit.

Viatris raised its 2026 revenue midpoint to $14.8 billion from $14.75 billion and its adjusted EBITDA midpoint to $4.5 billion from $4.4 billion. It increased its adjusted EPS midpoint to $2.60 from $2.52 and its free cash flow midpoint to $2.3 billion from $2.2 billion. The free cash flow outlook excludes transaction and restructuring costs; the updated guidance also excludes any contribution from the proposed Pacira BioSciences acquisition.

About $115 million in new product sales, along with strength in North America and Greater China, helped offset supply constraints in Europe and emerging markets and additional competition on certain products. Viatris estimated that supply constraints reduced third-quarter revenue by about $100 million and projected a similar impact in the fourth quarter.

“Based on this performance and our confidence in the outlook for the rest of the year, we are once again raising the midpoints of our financial guidance ranges across all key metrics,” said Paul Campbell, Viatris’ interim CFO, chief accounting officer and corporate controller.

Viatris voluntarily suspended manufacturing at its oral solid dose facility in Nashik, India, in October after the FDA classified the facility as Official Action Indicated. The company expects production to resume in the first quarter of 2027.
