> Revenue climbed 32% to $622 million, while revenue tied to its Vector advertising platform rose 126% year over year.

Unity Software posted its first GAAP profit since going public in 2020, as third-quarter revenue rose 32% and its AI advertising business drove most of the increase.

Net income was $122 million for the three months ended Sept. 30, compared with a $127 million loss in the third quarter of 2025. Diluted earnings were $0.25 per share, versus a $0.30 loss per share a year earlier. Revenue totaled $622 million.

Grow Solutions, Unity’s advertising business, generated $457 million, up 44% from a year earlier and more than two-thirds of total revenue. Revenue tied to Vector, the company’s AI advertising platform, increased 126% year over year and 40% from the second quarter. The Vector growth rate outpaced the company’s overall revenue increase.

Strategic revenue, Unity’s measure of its core ongoing operations, rose 59% to $597 million. The company’s game engine and advertising business connect through game developers: studios use Unity’s engine to build games, then seek players, creating demand for advertising tools. Unity sells tools to place those ads, while Vector uses AI to match advertising with users likely to respond.

CEO Matt Bromberg described the quarter as Unity’s strongest performance yet and framed the company’s businesses as a flywheel linking game development, player acquisition and advertising. GAAP results include costs that adjusted measures can exclude, such as stock-based compensation, so the $122 million net income figure accounts for those costs.

For the fourth quarter of 2026, Unity forecast strategic revenue of $683 million to $691 million, representing year-over-year growth of 65% to 67%. It projected adjusted EBITDA of $290 million to $295 million.
