> Dimension AI’s preliminary figure covers setup capital over the platform’s first three years. The MOU does not require either company to fund or build it.

Ryde Group Ltd. and Dimension AI Pte. Ltd. will assess a potential GPU-as-a-Service platform under a nonbinding deal that carries a preliminary capital estimate of up to US$278 million.

The Singapore-based companies signed the memorandum of understanding Nov. 5. Dimension AI’s estimate covers capital to establish the platform over an initial three-year period. It is a setup cost projection, not a revenue forecast, and it does not guarantee revenue or commitments to Ryde.

The MOU does not require either company to spend money or build the platform. It also does not specify how the project would be financed or how any returns would be divided. Further assessment and a definitive agreement would be needed before a project could proceed.

Ryde, a mobility company listed on NYSE American under ticker RYDE, would bring commercial capabilities and regional networks to the proposed collaboration. Dimension AI would contribute its AI infrastructure and technical operations expertise.

The proposal fits Ryde’s “Ryde 2.0” strategy, which aims to use technology to strengthen its mobility services and add AI capabilities to its operations.
