> The Nov. 4 transaction added 9.2 million shares, bringing McEwen’s holding to 29.2 million from 20 million.

McEwen Inc. raised its stake in Inventus Mining Corp. to 12.7% after acquiring 9.2 million shares through a C$1.104 million warrant exercise completed Nov. 4, expanding its holding in the Ontario-focused explorer.

The transaction brought McEwen’s Inventus holding to 29.2 million shares from 20 million before the exercise. Its ownership rose from about 9% to 12.7%. McEwen disclosed the transaction Nov. 5, one day after it was completed.

The warrants carried an exercise price of C$0.12 each and were due to expire Nov. 6, 2026. McEwen received the warrants in April 2025 after exercising an earlier set of Inventus warrants at C$0.09 per share.

McEwen described the acquisition as being for investment purposes and reserved the right to acquire or dispose of Inventus securities in the future. Inventus focuses on mineral exploration and development in the Sudbury, Ontario, area.
