> A phased rollout is planned throughout 2027, but the company has not set a specific growth rate or revenue target for that year.

LifeStance Health Group, Inc. expects 2027 growth near the low end of its long-term mid-teens range, with Chief Financial Officer Ryan McGroarty estimating the new electronic health record system will trim growth by 1 to 2 percentage points.

McGroarty gave the estimate on the Nov. 5 earnings call, which started at 8:30 a.m. ET (13:30 UTC). He did not give a precise 2027 growth rate or dollar revenue target.

The forecast adds a quantified effect to LifeStance’s earlier long-term outlook. Management had previously expected mid-teens revenue growth beyond 2026 and planned to move to a new EHR during 2027, but had not put a percentage-point impact on the transition.

Chief Executive Officer Dave Bourdon said the vendor change would take place in phases throughout 2027, with the rollout designed to limit disruption to clinicians and patients. The company did not provide specific rollout dates or cadence.

McGroarty expects margins to continue expanding in 2027 and beyond. He cited demand for affordable mental health care, LifeStance’s value proposition for clinicians and specialty services as factors supporting growth.

The estimated 1-to-2-point impact applies to 2027 revenue growth. It is separate from the company’s latest quarterly results: revenue grew 25% in the three months ended Sept. 30, 2026.

LifeStance reported third-quarter revenue of $455.9 million, compared with $363.8 million a year earlier. Visits reached 2.7 million, up 17%, while the clinician base grew 11% to 8,863. The company added 321 clinicians on a net basis during the quarter.

LifeStance raised its 2026 revenue outlook to $1.741 billion to $1.761 billion. That full-year range does not provide a dollar target for 2027.

Management previously estimated the EHR implementation would use $20 million to $30 million in cash across 2026 and 2027. Much of the spending was expected to be capitalized or treated as nonrecurring in EBITDA reporting, so the cash estimate and EBITDA treatment describe different aspects of the transition.
