# Sphere Entertainment Targets Rocky Horror Debut by the End of March 2027

Sphere Entertainment expects The Rocky Horror Picture Show at Sphere to debut by the end of March 2027, while pursuing a goal of three to four Sphere Experiences playing by the end of 2027.

The company said production is underway on the new Sphere Experience. It has not announced an exact opening date or ticket-sale timing.

On Nov. 5, Executive Chairman and CEO James L. Dolan reaffirmed the broader target during an earnings call. Asked whether the company still expected three to four experiences to be playing by the end of 2027, Dolan replied, “Yes. You already know some of them, right?”

Sphere Entertainment first announced the production on June 16, 2026, with an expected opening in 2027. Sphere Studios said it would apply its technology to the 1975 film through an arrangement with Primary Wave Music and 20th Century Studios.

The June announcement also named Postcard from Earth and The Wizard of Oz at Sphere as titles in Sphere’s original immersive content slate. The company has not disclosed the full lineup for its three-to-four-experience target. Its current expectation is for Rocky Horror to debut by the end of March 2027.
