Four people familiar with investor discussions said potential investors are questioning Anthropic’s November IPO schedule, raising the possibility of a delay if pressure on AI-related assets persists.

The planned roadshow is set to begin during the week of Nov. 9, with pricing expected the following week. Investors are questioning whether Anthropic can complete that process and still list in November, the people said.

Some investors see $1.5 trillion as the high end of expectations, the people said. Anthropic may need to offer a larger discount to secure commitments, given its quarterly losses and substantial commitments to partners in the AI buildout, they said.

Two people familiar with the matter said investors are also waiting for Anthropic’s October revenue figure, which was left blank in its latest S-1 filing. Anthropic declined to comment. The four people said a delay could follow if pressure on AI-related assets continues until market conditions become more stable.
