Biodesix expects 2026 revenue of $101 million to $103 million and plans to end the year with about 115 sales representatives, with the range midpoint implying roughly 15% growth over 2025.

The company’s outlook incorporates its third-quarter results, the pace of sales-team hiring and training, and the timing of development-services contracts.

Third-quarter total revenue rose 10%. Diagnostic testing revenue increased 16%, test volumes grew 24% and gross margin was 81%.

Management attributed a shortfall against its plans to having fewer sales representatives than expected, greater seasonality in primary care and delayed development-services projects. It characterized those factors as execution and timing challenges rather than changes in demand or competitive position, and described sales-force-related weakness as temporary.

Management also pointed to rebuilding and scaling the sales force, broader adoption through health-system lung-nodule pathways and future diagnostic products as growth drivers. Biodesix expects gross margins of about 80% and continued progress toward profitability.
