# York Water's Third-Quarter Revenue Rises to $24.33 Million

The York Water Company announced third-quarter operating revenue of $24.333 million, up $3.972 million from the same period in 2025. The quarter ended Sept. 30, and the results were announced Nov. 6.

Net income rose $1.608 million year over year to $7.809 million. Basic and diluted earnings per share were 48 cents, compared with 43 cents in the third quarter of 2025.

Revenue growth mainly reflected rate increases that took effect March 1 and customer growth. Higher operating and maintenance expenses, depreciation and income taxes partly offset the increase.

York Water recorded $67.922 million in revenue and $20.238 million in net income over the first nine months of 2026; basic and diluted EPS were $1.30. Its drinking-water and wastewater operations extend across parts of 58 municipalities in four south-central Pennsylvania counties.
