> The company plans to reinvest the savings in its capabilities. Its full-year 2026 expense-growth forecast excludes Northleaf Capital Group.

IGM Financial Inc. expects its simplification measures to generate about C$15 million in savings during 2026, with the money going back into company capabilities as it maintains its full-year expense-growth forecast.

Chief Financial Officer Keith Potter said on a Nov. 6 call that IGM was on track to meet its savings and reinvestment milestones. “We are on track to meet both our 2026 savings and reinvestment milestones,” Potter said.

IGM maintained its forecast for 4% growth in full-year 2026 operations and support and business development expenses, excluding Northleaf Capital Group. Those two categories totaled C$284.0 million in the third quarter, flat from a year earlier on the same basis.

For the first nine months of 2026, the expenses rose 3.6% year over year, also excluding Northleaf. The C$15 million figure is the amount IGM expects to save during 2026; the company’s broader savings aim is expressed on an annualized basis.

IGM announced the multiyear simplification initiative in June, setting a goal of about C$70 million in annualized savings by the end of 2028. It plans to reinvest the savings in artificial intelligence capabilities, including people, processes and technology.

The call update followed IGM’s [third-quarter results](<https://www.tokenpost.com/news/business/51315>), released Nov. 5.
