Exascale Labs Holdings Inc. (Nasdaq: XLAB) shares climbed 72.79% Friday, Oct. 16, to $2.35, two days after disclosure of an $8.208 million Sunon contract for GPU equipment and services.

XLAB had gained 49.70% Thursday, Oct. 15, closing at $1.36 after finishing Wednesday at $0.91. Friday’s close was recorded at 4 p.m. ET (20:00 UTC). At 3:52 p.m. ET (19:52 UTC) Monday, Oct. 19, the shares traded at $2.99.

The agreement was dated Oct. 8 and entered Oct. 9. It calls for 12 NVIDIA HGX B300 servers containing 96 GPUs, along with network equipment and management servers. The scope also includes deployment work and 36 months of IT operations at a U.S. data center designated by Sunon. The contract price excludes import duties and taxes.

Sunon is to make a 30% down payment after issuing a purchase order, with the remaining 70% due before shipment. Exascale’s delivery obligation depends on receiving the down payment, NVIDIA approval and export and import authorizations.

Exascale provides GPU-as-a-Service, GPU cluster management and data-center solutions. For the fiscal year ended June 30, 2026, it recorded $14.8 million in revenue, up 111.3% from $7 million the previous year, and a $12.2 million net loss. Chief Executive Officer Hoansoo Lee said Sept. 28, “Our focus now is on converting that growth into disciplined, scalable execution as a public company.”
