> Difficulty rose 5.54% to 148.36 trillion on Oct. 29. A separate Nov. 2 estimate put gross hashprice at about $33,100 per EH/s per day.

Bitcoin (BTC) miners’ estimated gross daily revenue per exahash per second fell 14.2% across two weekly readings, pointing to lower returns per unit of computing power before electricity and other operating costs.

One estimate put daily gross revenue at $33,095 per EH/s per day for the week to Nov. 2, down from $38,552 per EH/s per day for the week to Oct. 9. The two estimates imply a 14.2% decline. The calculation uses a 3.125 BTC block subsidy, 144 blocks per day, daily Bitcoin closing prices and the network’s seven-day average hashrate.

A separate estimate put gross hashprice at $33.10 per petahash per second per day on Nov. 2, equivalent to about $33,100 per EH/s per day. Hashprice estimates the gross daily value of rewards tied to a unit of mining power, including block subsidies and transaction fees.

These are gross revenue measures. They do not subtract electricity, equipment or other operating costs, and they do not show whether a particular miner is profitable. Costs vary by operator, while the estimates describe returns per unit of computing power rather than each company’s total income.

Bitcoin’s mining difficulty increased 5.54% to 148.36 trillion at block 973,728 on Oct. 29 at 3:14 p.m. ET (19:14:58 UTC). It was about 11.8% above the Sept. 19 setting, but roughly 4.9% below the 155.97 trillion level recorded on Oct. 29, 2025.

The network adjusts difficulty every 2,016 blocks to keep average block production near 10 minutes. A higher setting means more computing work is needed to find blocks. The difficulty increase does not establish that miners sold Bitcoin or shut down equipment.
