# FTX Estate Moves $75 Million in Ether to Wintermute Through Six Wallets

Blockchain records show six wallets associated with FTX and Alameda Research moved a combined 27,372 Ether (ETH), valued at about $75.32 million, to Wintermute on Sept. 22-23.

The largest transfer moved 23,639.225 ETH at 4:54 p.m. ET on Sept. 22 (20:54 UTC). The transaction was valued at $64.98 million using a reference price of $2,753.25 per ETH and went to an address labeled “Wintermute 5.”

The records confirm the movement of funds to Wintermute-labeled addresses but do not establish that the Ether was sold. The transfer’s purpose, including whether it involved a hedge, inventory management or creditor repayment, has not been confirmed.

The FTX Recovery Trust has continued liquidating or recovering estate assets while distributing funds to creditors. Its fifth distribution, totaling approximately $900 million, began July 31.
