# Ether Long Liquidations Reach $37.81 Million in One Hour

Ether (ETH) long liquidations totaled $37.81 million in the hour ending at 10:24 a.m. ET (14:24 UTC) on Sept. 23, as the second-largest cryptocurrency by market capitalization declined 1.49%.

Total Ether liquidations reached $38.47 million during the period. Short liquidations accounted for $660,000, leaving the overwhelming majority of forced position closures on the long side.

ETH fell from $2,713 to $2,672 over the same hour. The figures reflect publicly available liquidation data collected and combined from Binance, Bybit and OKX, covering those three exchanges rather than the entire market.
