# Hyperliquid Burns $3.26 Million Worth of HYPE in 24 Hours

Hyperliquid burned 34,280 Hyperliquid (HYPE) tokens during the latest 24-hour period, removing about $3.26 million worth of the asset from its maximum supply.

The tokens were acquired at a volume-weighted average price of $95.25. The latest transaction brings Hyperliquid’s cumulative HYPE burn to 48.89 million tokens.

That total represents 4.89% of HYPE’s maximum supply and is valued at about $4.51 billion. The protocol’s 30-day revenue totaled $60.58 million.

The latest transaction adds to Hyperliquid’s cumulative supply reduction, which has permanently removed tokens from the amount available under the maximum limit.
