# Gate Ranks Third in Bitcoin Spot Volume Among Tracked Exchanges

Gate ranked third among tracked exchanges in a two-year Bitcoin (BTC) spot-volume ranking after rising four places and increasing its share of measured trading to 9.1%.

Gate’s share rose from 2.0% to 9.1%, a net increase of 7.1 percentage points. That was the largest net increase among the exchanges measured.

The exchange ranked among the top three for nine of the past 24 months, reflecting sustained activity in the BTC spot market.

Across exchanges, 24-hour spot trading volume rebounded 121% from its August low. Returning funds were distributed across multiple trading platforms.
