# XRP Rises 3.53% in Four Hours to $1.52 as Short Liquidations Lead

XRP rose 3.53% in four hours to $1.52 at 12:32 p.m. ET (16:32 UTC) on Sept. 24, extending its 24-hour gain to 1.28%.

The price increased from $1.47 to $1.52 during the four-hour period. The figures were calculated from publicly listed spot prices collected directly from exchanges, using the XRP/USDT spot market on Binance for the latest reading.

Liquidations across Binance, Bybit and OKX totaled $520,000 during the same hour. Short positions accounted for $310,000 of the total, compared with $210,000 in long positions.

XRP ranked fifth among crypto assets by market capitalization at about $94.80154 billion.
