Zcash (ZEC) climbed 4.63% in four hours to $1,550 at 12:42 p.m. ET (16:42 UTC) Sept. 24, extending a sharp short-term move despite a 0.96% decline over the previous 24 hours.

The price was measured on Binance’s spot ZEC/USDT market. ZEC rose from $1,481 four hours earlier to $1,550.

ZEC liquidations across Binance, Bybit and OKX totaled $870,000 during the same one-hour period. Short positions accounted for $830,000, while long-position liquidations reached $40,000.

Zcash ranked ninth by market capitalization at approximately $25.54317 billion.
