Oil prices extended their declines Thursday as West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude fell 2% to $91.94 a barrel, while Brent crude dropped about 1.8%.

Brent stood at $98.90 a barrel as of 9:43 p.m. ET Thursday (01:43 UTC Friday).
