# USD Coin Circulation Rises by About 300 Million in Seven Days

USD Coin (USDC) circulation rose by about 300 million USDC over the seven days ending Sept. 21, reaching 74.6 billion USDC as reserves totaled about $74.8 billion.

Circle issued about $10.1 billion of USDC and redeemed roughly $9.8 billion during the period. The difference lifted circulation by about 300 million USDC.

Reserves included $41.2 billion in overnight reverse Treasury repurchase agreements, $26.5 billion in Treasury securities maturing in less than three months, $5.9 billion in deposits at systemically important institutions and $1.2 billion in other bank deposits.

The reserve total exceeded circulating USDC by about $200 million based on the reported figures.
