# Ether Drops 1.4% in One Hour to 2,696 USDT Amid Long Liquidations

Ether (ETH) fell 1.44% in one hour to 2,696 USDT at 8:17 a.m. ET (12:17 UTC) Sept. 25, based on public exchange prices collected by TokenPost.

The calculation used Binance’s spot ETH/USDT market, where Ether declined from 2,736 USDT one hour earlier. ETH was still up 1.78% over the previous 24 hours.

Long liquidations totaled $5.49 million across Binance, Bybit and OKX during the same hour, compared with $60,000 in short liquidations. Ether’s market capitalization was about $333.8045 billion, ranking it No. 2 among crypto assets.
