# Trader Holds $28.48 Million NEAR Long With $14.74 Million Gain

A trader identified as MK4 holds 5.84 million NEAR Protocol (NEAR) tokens in a long position valued at about $28.48 million, making it the largest position among $43.63 million in open trades as of Sept. 26.

The position was opened at an average price of $2.35 and shows an unrealized gain of approximately $14.74 million. An unrealized gain reflects profit on paper while the position remains open.

MK4’s open positions have combined unrealized gains of roughly $12.95 million. The total is lower than the NEAR position’s gain because the account’s other positions have recorded a combined loss of about $1.79 million.

The position is a follow-up to MK4’s earlier reported NEAR gain, which was also tied to a long trade.

MK4’s cumulative profit from spot and perpetual contracts is approximately $57.04 million.
