> The index reached -0.0082% on Sept. 26, indicating weaker relative buying on Coinbase than on Binance while remaining near zero.

Bitcoin (BTC) traded at a lower relative premium on Coinbase than on Binance for a fourth straight day, with the Coinbase Bitcoin premium index reaching -0.0082% on Sept. 26.

The index compares Bitcoin prices on Coinbase Pro and Binance. A reading below zero means the asset is quoted lower on Coinbase, a signal that can reflect weaker U.S. buying or stronger selling pressure in that market.

The latest decline was modest compared with earlier readings. The index stood at -0.0205% on Sept. 13 and -0.1073% on Aug. 12, putting the current level closer to the zero line.

The indicator briefly moved above zero on Aug. 24, reaching 0.0052% and ending a 97-day negative streak that began May 19. The positive reading did not hold, and the index has since returned to negative territory.

The premium index does not, by itself, show that institutional investors are withdrawing funds. It measures a price difference between two exchanges and can reflect changes in relative buying or selling pressure.
