> JTO reached $0.5705 in a Sept. 27 snapshot, with $129.47 million in 24-hour futures volume and $27.37 million in spot volume. The available data do not establish what caused the gain.

Jito (JTO) rose 16.33% to $0.5705 in a Sept. 27 market snapshot, while derivatives and spot trading volumes reached tens of millions of dollars and the available data did not establish the cause of the gain.

JTO recorded $129.47 million in 24-hour futures volume, $27.37 million in 24-hour spot volume and $54.48 million in open interest. Open interest measures the amount of derivatives positions that remain open, but it does not indicate whether traders are predominantly betting on gains or declines.

The market snapshot came after PDAX, a Philippine cryptocurrency exchange, made JitoSOL available on Sept. 15. The listing gives users access to JitoSOL as a listed digital asset, but does not include staking, minting or redemption services.

JitoSOL is a liquid-staking token that represents SOL staked through the Jito Stake Pool while remaining transferable for use in Solana-based applications. JTO is the governance token of the Jito Network.

Jito’s Block Assembly Marketplace, or BAM, also reached its one-year milestone. BAM’s early mainnet launched Sept. 25, 2025, with validator onboarding and an open-source validator client. Alejandro described the launch in a forum post by writing, “BAM mainnet is here.”

The PDAX listing and BAM milestone provide a timeline for developments surrounding Jito, but the available figures do not show that either event caused JTO’s move. They also do not establish that a short squeeze was underway.

JitoSOL remains available through the PDAX listing, while BAM’s early mainnet continues to serve as the infrastructure milestone tied to the network’s block-building effort.
