# Bitcoin Seven-Day Average Hash Rate Hits Three-Week Low

Bitcoin (BTC) posted a three-week low in its seven-day average hash rate as of Sept. 26, while miner holdings fell during the week ended Sept. 26.

The average hash rate was about 915.8 million terahashes per second, down roughly 34.86 million TH/s from the previous week. The figure marked its lowest level since Sept. 3.

Bitcoin miners held about 1.1928 million BTC during the Sept. 20–26 period, a weekly decrease of 1,530 BTC.

The Bitcoin Puell Multiple rose to 1.13, an increase of 0.24 from the previous week. The indicator compares the daily value of newly issued BTC with its 365-day moving average to measure miner revenue against historical levels.
