A reported reading showed 1,693,365 Ethereum addresses holding Shiba Inu (SHIB) as of Sept. 27, putting the token 6,635 addresses below the 1.7 million mark.

The count rose by 1,235 addresses over the preceding 24 hours. It increased by 8,927 addresses during September through Sept. 27.

SHIB is an ERC-20 token on the Ethereum network. The reading covers addresses holding SHIB through its Ethereum contract and should not be treated as a combined holder count for Ethereum and Shibarium.

The 1.7 million threshold would require the addition of 6,635 addresses from the Sept. 27 reading.
