Ripple's XRP fell 2.69% in one hour to $1.49 at 10:42 a.m. ET (14:42 UTC) on Sept. 28, marking a sharp decline in the token's short-term trading value.

XRP dropped from $1.53 one hour earlier and was down 2.15% over the previous 24 hours. The token ranked fifth by market capitalization at approximately $95.69215 billion.

One-hour liquidations totaled $900,000 for long positions and $30,000 for short positions across Binance, Bybit and OKX. The prices and liquidation figures were calculated from publicly available exchange data collected directly.
