Ether (ETH) short liquidations reached $11.32 million in the hour before 1:17 p.m. ET (17:17 UTC) Sept. 28, as the second-largest cryptocurrency by market capitalization climbed 1.14%.

Total liquidations reached $11.5 million across the period, including $180,000 in long positions. Ether rose from $2,684 to $2,715 during the same hour.

The figures are TokenPost’s tally of public liquidation data from Binance, Bybit and OKX. They cover those three exchanges only and do not represent the entire market.

The surge in short liquidations came as Ether moved higher during the measured period.
