> The wallet sent QNT to Coinbase and Kraken as Quant took roles in tokenized-deposit infrastructure projects in the United States and United Kingdom.

A long-held Quant (QNT) wallet moved 9,000 tokens worth about $1.998 million to Coinbase and Kraken as Quant advanced two tokenized-deposit infrastructure projects in the United States and the United Kingdom.

The transfers occurred between 8:35 and 9:31 p.m. ET on Sept. 28 (00:35–01:31 UTC on Sept. 29). The wallet deposited 4,000 QNT and 3,000 QNT into Coinbase in separate transactions and 2,000 QNT into Kraken, with the tokens valued at $222.09 each.

The wallet, which begins with 0x94e, had accumulated 53,632.95 QNT through exchange withdrawals between May 2019 and November 2022. Based on an average cost basis of $22.57, the deposited tokens represented an 884% paper return at the stated valuation. The deposits do not establish that the tokens were sold.

QNT had climbed from roughly $61 on Sept. 16 to an intraday high near $373 on Sept. 27 before trading near the deposit valuation. [Quant’s earlier price surge](<https://www.tokenpost.com/news/investing/24658>) followed the announcement of a planned role in The Clearing House’s tokenized-money program.

The Clearing House selected Quant to provide interoperability, orchestration and transaction-management technology for its On-Chain Money Initiative. Participating financial institutions are scheduled to gain access during the first six months of 2027, with links to the RTP and CHIPS payment networks.

In the U.K., the Great British Tokenised Deposit platform developed by Quant processed live retail transactions involving Barclays, HSBC UK, Lloyds Banking Group, Monzo, Nationwide, NatWest and Santander. The activity included two remortgage completions and one consumer marketplace transaction.

The developments provide a broader adoption backdrop for QNT, but the wallet’s owner is unknown and the exchange deposits alone do not show whether a sale occurred.
